The external sensor element is placed in a fixing and adjusting unit fastened to a lower side of a unit’s base. The external sensor element is joined to the main unit by an electric cable that is secured by the fixing and adjusting unit.
A specially designed construction makes it possible to turn the external sensor element both vertically and horizontally so that the direction of the sensor element optical axis meets the requirements of the project and the site. This engineering decision was prompted by our clients’ needs for a compact industrial modification.
With the protection degree for the main unit housing being IP-55 and for the external sensor element casing being IP-66, Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 can be used in all fire-hazardous zones.
When mounting Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 make sure that the direct or reflected sunlight doesn’t interfere. It is recommended that Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 should be placed on the wall where the windows are located. As far as artificial light is concerned Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 is extra-resilient to luminous tube lamps, halogen and LED light sources that can be located at one metre distance or more from the flame detector.
Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 is resilient to repeatable optic interference such as flashing lights or artificial light produced by technical facilities. The microprocessing of the signal enables the flame detector to set apart the repeatable impulses and take them as not typical for fire.
Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 have performed well and proved to be of great value at ware- and storehouses where there is a need for detector’s protection against flashing lights of loading vehicles or where a detector faces a risk of being damaged by either equipment, machinery or as a result of personnel negligence.
Flame Detector Pulsar 4-013 is recommended for operation in workshops, car dealerships, chemical and alcohol storehouses, distilleries, alkaline metals industries and storehouses, at the sites of building and construction materials production and storage, etc.
