Pulsar 4-012 is extra-ruggedized against illuminators and electric heating elements. Thus it can be mounted in large drying chambers with powerful sources of artificial light or where the heating is made by infrared radiating element.
Pulsar 4-012 is resistant to electromagnetic interference that comes as a result of pulse-duration modulation or power switching of engines, ventilator pumps, and other operation units.
Pulsar 4-012 is a monospectral modification, that’s why it cannot fully state the difference between sunlight and flame. But at the same time it is resilient to active shade and backlight, so it can be mounted at the windows although direct sunlight interference is not recommended.
Flame detector Pulsar 4-012 is a user-friendly 4-cable model where power cable and signal cable are separated. It gives additional protection against electromagnetic interference at hazardous industrial sites.
Of particular interest are modifications Pulsar 4-012 NK2 and Pulsar 4-012 PSK2 which form split signals “Alarm” and “Fault”. Galvanic isolation is provided by opto relays. This function is especially important when the signal “Fault” for service technicians is formed by a separate line or even by isolated control and indicating equipment while the signal “Alarm” should be formed at central control facility.
