Because of the interference digital filter Flame detector Pulsar 4-011P is more resistant to electromagnetic disturbance. Being protected against background diffused illumination, this model can be installed even on the premises with clerestories, second upper rows of windows or/and semi-transparent glass ceilings. Pulsar 4-011P can even be mounted in the so-called “active shade”, that is directly at the window although direct sunlight interference is not recommended.
A special design of the external IR sensor element fastened to an armored electric cable helps to give definite viewing angle requirements. Flame detector Pulsar 4-011P is the first modification to have 4-cable models where power cable and signal cable are separated. It gives additional extra-protection against electromagnetic interference at hazardous industrial sites.
Of particular interest are modifications Pulsar 4-011 PNK2 and Pulsar 4-011 PSK2 which form split signals “Alarm” and “Fault”. Galvanic isolation is provided by opto relays. The signal “Fault” is formed in case of the device inner malfunction or power breakup.
